St Oswald Chapter 850 was founded in 1986. The Royal Arch is the continuation of Craft Freemasonry. Its members, called Companions, meet in Chapters. Chapters are ruled over by three Principals, who rule conjointly, The Royal Arch is considered to be the completion of “pure ancient Masonry”. All Master Masons of four weeks standing or more are eligible to join.

The Chapter meets on the last Monday of the month in February, June, September, and November.
The Installation meeting is held in June.
