For each of those who join, Freemasonry means different things. Some Freemasons enjoy meeting new people and expanding their circle of friends. For others charity is one of the primary reasons, being able to help deserving causes and helping to make a difference to family and society.  For some it’s an escape from the stresses and strains of life, to be able to simply spend time in good company. For many Freemasons, it is simply an enjoyable hobby. For most, it’s all of these things bought together into a personal journey through life, enhanced by the elegant nature of this ancient path to self-improvement of character and soul.
